France to Spain Wine Sale!

Fri, Dec 02, 22  |  newsletter wine

In March we are going to travel from France to Spain! These two old world winemaking regions have been sharing their agricultural practices (with some hidden secrets) for centuries. This also parallels my love for finding grapes with similar textures, or flavors that you can explore.

Our Flash sale this week has a Malbec from Cahors, France; a Bordeaux style blend from the region of Montsant, Spain; and a Monastrell from Jumilia Spain which I put in a group of black soul grapes; dark juice with dark flavors. Montsant and Priorat which are in the North-Eastern parts of Spain. This area was a refuge for Bordeaux producers when there was a vineyard plight affecting Burgundy. There are stories of Bordeaux producers picking original root stock and landing in these areas in Spain to save their livelihood. Once the coast was clear, the vines were left and were adapted in some wines.

Calling all MALBEC, BORDEAUX, CABERNET SAUVIGNON LOVERS!! These are the wines for you!
